Our 18,000 square foot fabrication shop can process up to 30,000 diameter inches of high-quality welding per month. Our welding procedures, welders and pipefitters meet all industry standards. Our industry-leading health & safety policies and procedures are in place to ensure the safety of our workers at all times.

  • 18,000 square foot shop – 2-bay shop divided into reception, cutting, preparation/fabrication, and testing zones
  • Three overhead cranes, one with a 2 ton capacity, and two with a 5 ton capacity each

DCM Integrated Solutions, member of the DCM Group, has also ASME “S” & “U” Certificates of Authorization for Power boilers and Pressure Vessels.

DCM Group is able to provide its customers integrated services for the construction, installation, repair, and alteration of power boilers and pressure vessels, in its own fabrication shop or in the field. DCM’s new ASME Quality Manual and valid Certificates of Authorization also cover external, power, and process piping, direct and indirect fired heaters, pressure fittings, and welder testing.

Quality control

Our operations comply with the QQP-315 Quality Control Manual for the Construction of Pressure Equipment, Parts, Fittings and Pressure Piping. This Manual is regularly updated and meets the requirements of the applicable pressure vessel legislation in Quebec and complies with the following standards: ACNOR B-51, ASME Section VIII DIV. 1, ASME B31.1, B31.3 and B31.5. This Manual is also certified and audited on a regular basis by the Régie du Bâtiment du Québec and the Canadian Welding Bureau.

All of our welding procedures as well as our welders and pipefitters comply with Section VIII and Section IX of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.

In order to ensure the effective implementation of our Quality Management Program, our inspection and test plans (ITPs) can be tailored to meet specific client requirements. We have many control methods in place at all stages of the production process. As such, quality is validated with respect to purchasing, reception of materials and fabrication (welder qualification, welding procedures, electrode testing, dimensional inspections, etc.), final inspection, testing (non-destructive, hydrostatic, etc.), instrument calibration and documentation. If required, we welcome third-party client representatives throughout the project.

Particular attention is paid to documentation related to fabrication operations. The collection of documentation, given to the client, contains all the proof of control activities carried out by JYNT. For example, drawings which indicate “Weld Maps” and “Heat Numbers” are intended to ensure the effective tracking of all materials and tests.

It is very important that all JYNT employees continuously strive to improve the quality management system. One of the many ways is to manage non-compliances, which in turn allows us to modify and improve our processes and avoid repeating the same mistakes.
